Again, those advertisers are paying for INTERNATIONAL competition - the value they perceive in pumping that money comes from the calculation that there will be high public interest in INTERNATIONAL competition involving India. If all they cared about was India, then the Ranji trophy and other domestic ODI competitions would be pulling in just as much revenue.
Like I said, the advertisers and television rights bidders might be predominantly from India, but they are pumping in that money because India is playing other countries. That revenue dries up for all parties (including India) if India pulls out or countries other than India pull out.
India doesn't make money from CT17, ICC makes. As far as I know BCCI didn't agreed with the new revenue sharing agreement. So this is not the last word.
I hope as well; ICC comes to its senses.India is never pulling out of champions trophy or ICC.
Australia and England want to save Cricket i guess.
And vice versa...
India is the golden goose of cricket. If ICC kills the goose, the cricket will die. If India doesn't play, ICC will see drastic reduction in revenue, meaning every country on ICC will see drastic reduction in revenue.
Pakistan has been proven right, we opposed this big 3 nonsense and rebelled to convince the world of the nature of India.
The entire cricketing world came to its senses to save cricket from India and its menace
A reduction in revenue is better then stand by and watch India destroy the game we love
Go play your IPL India
Do you thing $570 million that India is getting from ICC over 10 years matters to India? $570 million over 10 years in peanuts. BCCI revenue itself is $1.5 billion every year. However, we are asking our fair share from ICC as 80% of ICC revenue is generated from India. Without BCCI, ICC is dead.
We don't care about what India thinks it should receive, the cricketing world doesn't exist to shovel food down your greedy mouths
India has become a cancer in the world cricketing body and we need aggressive chemotherapy to get rid of India
I think the whole cricketing world will be happy if India went into isolation
Won't happen in a million year. ICC is only showing BCCI its limits, which means all the other board are showing BCCI its limits. And again vice Versa, BCCI is nothing without ICC, nothing.India is the golden goose of cricket. If ICC kills the goose, the cricket will die. It is you who need to wake up. Two way street BCCI too is nothing without ICC. BCCI itself doesn't produce the said revenue, the broadcasters, sponsors are the source of money.grow up
with out BCCI there is not ICC

For those who didn't know IPL generated revenue is for BCCI only. It would be great if members knew about facts.
