The problem with that theory is that the journalist was Jeffrey Goldberg, the writer selected by such leaders as those running Hamas to the Castros running Cuba because of his reputation for self-honesty and faithful renditions of what they wish to communicate. Goldberg was selected by the prince, not "put in a bad situation" by him. The interview took place in his living room! So we can safely assume that what Goldberg wrote is what the Crown Prince meant to say:

He said if both peoples have a state it would be fine. Which is basically the Arab Peace Initiative. Then he went on to say they could have mutual interests in event of Israel agreeing to two state solution. Which is also reflective of Arab Peace Initiative. However, American/Jewish/Israeli media tried spinning it off as him accepting Israel's current policies and ignoring the Palestinian aspect which is misrepresenting. It shows they only care to advance their agenda and want to prevent Palestinian independence.

MBS is different from his predecessors. He wants to purge Saudi Arabia from the scourge of fundamentalism (and corruption) and transform his country into a moderate prosperous society. He is a visionary and he intends to see his objectives through.

If Saudi Arabia can play a constructive role in addressing ongoing Palestine-Israel issue then good for all. However, YOU (a country) cannot play a constructive role in this matter if you do not even recognize existence of Israel. Some people do not get this.

Israel is a reality today and cannot be rolled-back. It is a nuclear power [in itself] and under protection of the greatest nuclear power in existence on top. HARD POWER is not an option to address the Palestine-Israel issue anymore.

Racist Europeans (and Russians) are indirectly responsible for the creation of the state of Israel in the Middle East because they have an ugly history of persecuting JEWS in their homelands, forcing many to flee to Palestine and other regions. However, to disguise injustice done for the sake of righting an injustice as correct is false.

It is the central tenet of Pakistan's middle east and domestic policy: Pakistanis are inculcated to believe a phony narrative is truth; the HEC makes it a test of loyalty to the State and students and more especially teachers are forbidden to say otherwise: link. The paradox is that sticking to this policy is anti-democratic and requires such jumps of ill-logic as to literally drive Pakistanis crazy.

Kids and teachers might not be able to challenge the system but once kids like yourself have graduated from college they can openly advocate change with far less risk to life and career. Of course, unlike the Crown Prince most Pakistanis have very little protection from violence: the distortion of hate-over-all has corrupted law enforcement and encouraged lawlessness. He just showed that he is realistic and pragmatic.. he conveyed the Two state solution in a clear manner while being realistic about the situation and the possibilities of the future..I think he handled it quite well, considering he was addressing the Global Zionist media.. there is noting more in it that they don't already know .. maybe they forgot how the Muslims have treated the Jews throughout history! So..He clarified that from since the beginning of Islam.. by giving the example of our prophet..
