What's new

Big budget blockbuster war movie " The Chinese Volunteer Army" will be shown in theaters all across China during the Chinese National Day holidays

The one where you got humiliated by a single US marine divisions?

The one where a bunch American tankers paint a scary picture on their tanks the Chinese run away in fear?

The one where Mao's son got killed?

The one where a bunch of Filipinos cooks stop a Chinese charge?

The one where the Turks stop an entire invasion column giving time for the allied time to retreat & regroup?

That Korean War?

Yes I don't think China actually "won" here.
You can BS as much as you want, but you are a loser in the war.

Point is China "won" the same way the Rusky won the winter war & the Chechen War.

I mean if you want to call that a "victory" go ahead.
Lol, comparing Korean war with the armed to teeth overwhelming superpower US army to the small group of Chechen Rebels in Chechen war, what a joke.

They comparison is that the UN forces & the Chechen humiliated the Chinese & the Russian. Just look at how many the UN killed compared to the Chinese.

Lol, longest retreat in your military history in the coldest winter, first defeat in your military history, you people can make bogus BS that US army slaughtered a million Chinese soldiers as I saw a TV show put up by US sometime ago, what a loser desperately want to save face in making up all those glorious tale of US army.

All of that really happened. The 1st marine division build a defense fort made out of frozen chinaman. And made their escape despite being surrounded by 11 Chinese divisions. Read a book once in a while.

LOL who is the one making a fake propaganda film? The battle of lake changjin was so bad in addition of being unrealistic that people actually laughed at it.

Meanwhile the 1st Marine division accomplishment was so legendary that no one will believe it if they even make a movie about it. What does that tell you about China that you have nothing to be proud of during the korean war?

China dragged the majority of Japanese army for more than 10 years in battles. We are talking about Korean war, lol.
Not your Chicoms. The Koumintang did the work. Not your Parade Line Army (PLA). Your Mao Ze Dong (Winnie the Poo's ancestor was busy running around with his tail between his legs)

The only reason you Yankees got away at Changjin lake was the Chinese company engaged in the ambush were frozen to deaths and you piggy Yankees were lucky to escape. Don't BS from your foul mouth, there were 3 ill-equipped Chinese armies attacked the whole 10th army of US including the 1st marine division at the whole battle around the lake. The typical one Chinese army has smaller number of soldiers than one US army. There were 24 K US soldiers killed in the battle, a loser is a loser no matter how you spin it. And you Yankees lost again in Vietnam war no matter how you like to glorify it.

From wiki:
Eliot A. Cohen writes that the retreat from Chosin was a UN victory which inflicted such heavy losses on the PVA 9th Army that it was put out of action until March 1951.[223] Paul M. Edwards, founder of the Center for the Study of the Korean War,[224] draws parallels between the battle at Chosin and the Dunkirk evacuation. He writes that the retreat from Chosin following a "massive strategic victory" by the Chinese has been represented as "a moment of heroic history" for the UN forces.[225] Appleman, on the other hand, questioned the necessity of a sea-borne evacuation to preserve the UN forces, asserting that X Corps had the strength to break out of the Chinese encirclement at Hungnam at the end of the battle.[226] Chinese historian Li Xiaobing acknowledges X Corps' successful withdrawal from North Korea, and writes that the Battle of Chosin "has become a part of Marine lore, but it was still a retreat, not a victory."[227] Bruce Cumings simply refers to the battle as a "terrible defeat" for the Americans.[228]

Patrick C. Roe, who served as an intelligence officer with the 7th Marine Regiment at Chosin,[229] asserts that X Corps directly allowed the Eighth Army to hold the south[m] and quoted MacArthur in corroborating his view.[n] Yu Bin, a historian and a former member of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, states that while the destruction of Task Force Faith[o] was viewed as the single greatest Chinese victory of the war, ultimately the PVA 9th Army had become "a giant hospital" while failing to destroy the numerically inferior UN forces at Chosin as planned.[230] Zhang Renchu [zh], whose 26th Corps was blamed for allowing the X Corps to escape,[5] had threatened suicide over the outcome, while Song Shilun offered to resign his post.[231]

China started at the Yalu river, the border river between China and North Korea. Finished half way through Korea, this fact explains everything.
