  • @jamahir There is a government institute to get drone pilot license. https://digitalsky.dgca.gov.in/pilot-registration This could become very valuable in the future. You don't need license for nano drones.
Also, private players are giving training and license, https://thebombayflyingclub.com/dro...Ph1D9ko7W0CVt6-KXxpJmCC0vdgcL8mwaAqdLEALw_wcB

1. I watched a vid from Australia about drone delivery of coffee ( don't remember if it was hot or cold ) and a bird attacking the flying drone. These drones are supposed to deliver to "the kerb", a location just outside or near the customer's location. Now this may be good but wider roads and distances in Australian cities but what about the chaos of Indian residential areas with narrow roads which have trees almost touching buildings, then the electricity wiring and the multi-storey buildings very near opposite the others ? Will Garuda's drones be able to negotiate these obstacles and not simply crash to the ground or on top of the public ? It will be good to include this because drone delivery of food is really a good idea. As per the vid Garuda's drones can be configured to lower the package to the customer through spool wire or by landing on the ground.

2. About this skytaxi :
4-jpg.849092

It looks ridiculous - those delicate rotors and a cramped space for even a single passenger. Have they even tested it before pasting a "Mahaan desh Bharat" flag on it, LOL ? However, please read and look again this thread of mine you participated in and was about the Russian cyclorotor aircraft project called Cyclocar which can carry six loaded soldiers or instead 600 kgs cargo and can fly IIRC at 250 kmph having a flying range of 500 kms. Though this is a military project there is no reason it can't be used as a multi-passenger skytaxi instead of the ridiculous Indian one above :

What utter BS, normal logon ki halaat out kari hui with all the harassment around not just flying drones but even RC planes/helicopters.

I have 2, a Mavic mini (1st gen) and a Mavic 2 pro from DJI.. was forced to register on their shitty government run clunky website for which I wasted 5 hours because it kept crashing, upon finally getting thru and obtaining my ownership and drone numbers (OAN/DAN), they'll still harass me for flying in a public park away from all residential complexes, roads.. much less airport or mil base areas (which is understandable, tbf, I'm not stupid enough to fly it near a god damn airport or a army base of some sort ffs.. wtf)

I still fly them, just need to get away from public areas where inevitably you get all these bhikari rubbernecks and law enforcement pigs etc who crowd around and want to see this udta huwa ajooba, the louts.
