The Pakistan Censor Board has disallowed the release because in the film Milkha refuses to go to Pakistan

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Farhan Akhtar starrer Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has been banned from releasing in Pakistan after the trailer of the film showed the lead character of the film refusing to move to Pakistan. The dialogue “Mujhse nahi hoga. Main Pakistan nahi jaonga” is said to be the main reason for disallowing the release of the film.

When Farhan’s character Milkha Singh is asked to go to Pakistan, he refuses to go there as his family members were brutally killed during the 1947 riots. The film’s producers Viacom 18 wanted to stay true to the real life story of Milkha and have decided not to get rid of the dialogue. They are willing to do away with the release of the film in Pakistan.

as if in 47 the Hindus dint kill Muslims.

anyway dafaaaa with the movie.

Pakistani singer's song in the movie gave much to it.

Too bad these singers can't save pakistani cinema even if their lives depended on it

:) what it has to do with Pakistani cenima in the first place?

These singers are contributing to your film industry and that too in a good way and have a share in hiting your films. That speaks for their sheer talent.

Epic ....

The movie is based on 47 riots and surely Hindu biase as usual is included in it.

if a man hates Pakistan why should we allow movie based on this langra's life in the first place?

Meanwhile, Milkha singh refused to go to pakland.

very ridiculous.. its just that he may have first said that would nt go to pak, but maybe later chnaged his mind as he did run in Pak. Or maybe its just movie embellishment. who knows.
I dont think this film shoud be released in pak though.
