Best Way to Send Money to Pakistan

Transferwise is best and western union is the worst.

Remitly has the best rates on offer. I check both. I send GBP to Pakistan. Transferwise offers me 204 and remitly offers 208.

Western Union money transfer in less than 5 minutes. No bank account needed for the transfer of money.only MTCN and ID card and you will get cash.

@Signalian @Wikki019 transferwise is the best way but some banks in Pakistan make the transfer a hassle often times.

From UK I use TransferWise all the time. Works like a charm.

Been using Remitly for 2 years now,you can send upto 25,000 pounds in one day and the money is transferred to the Pakistani account within minutes.
It also gives better rate than western union and transferwise.

I am using Transferwise since 3 4 years but never had a problem till now.
Some banks of Pakistan like habib and bank alfalah cause problems.

Western Union from the comfort of your home direct to a bank account and funds are transferred within couple of hours on weekdays.

I would like some feedback on the best way to send money to Pakistan, based on your experience, or word of mouth.

There are a number of factors that would be considered, including fees/charges, exchange rate, reliability, convenience, source country, and possibly others that I have not thought about.

From a quick google search, I found a few services, which included:
  • Skrill
  • Xoom - A PayPal Service
  • WorldRemit
  • TransferWise
  • Ria Money Transfer
  • Western Union
  • Regular bank to bank
Please share your feedback.
