Please advice good (hallal) restaurants in London. I have a plan to take her highness to out-of-ordinary restaurant tomorrow. So slightly confused

She is open to any type of food for as long as it is Halal. We have previously tried Asian, Chinese, English, Malaysian, Arabian, Persian foods and always love unique dishes but in my deep heart I want to go to Pakistani/Indian restaurant tomorrow.

So far I am thinking to go to Khan's at Bayswater or London Darbar something... please advice

That is very close to my sister's home. Always see that restaurant on Romford Road but I didn't go to that restaurant after my friend's bad experience. He went there during Ramadhan and had to wait for long time but no food was being served and after he inquired about the food he was treated unfairly and kinda abused. The language that he told me left bad taste in my mouth and I decided not to go to such place where they can't even give a simple reply to customers

Where do you live in UK Sir?

Yeah Green Street is good-visit for desi's... I hardly go there now but there are good restaurants out there. It's about 1 mile from my home

Try Edgware Road full off Lebanese and other middle eastern restaurants or Drummond Street near Euston Station!

oh ok... any restaurant you recommend in Manchester?

Last 2 last months I had multiple trips to Greater Manchester and surrounding areas including Stockport, Cheshire, Sheffield, Rotherham, Leeds and Liverpool etc so might be a good idea trying a restaurant in Manchester upon my next visit

For today I went to Khan's of Bayswater... Butter chicken was really delicious and also the Paneer naan... but King Prawn and rice were disappointing

There are so many good restaurants in Manchester. Nawab is quite famous one on Stockpot road though. you might have heard about Wimslow road as well full of Asian restaurants and take ways.
Next time let me know when you visit, I will take you to some good restaurant :enjoy:

Depends on what you want. Pakistani restaurants I've been to most in West London and a few of the big ones in East London. The best being Tayyab's. Nawaab from Manchester opened a branch in London just off the North circular.

For slightly higher end out of the ordinary ones, try some Arabic cuisine. Yamal al sham comes to mind, Prince Gardens in Knightsbridge, Maida restaurant is quite good, a friend recommended Blue elephant who have Halal options on their menu.

Been to Maida restaurant for several times... will try Yamal al Sham soon...

Thanks for letting me know about the branch of Nawaab in Perivale. I go across Hoover building for several times a month so will try it soon
