Or you can Just use Mac or Linux and get rid of Virus altogether. Seems like a easy option.

Somethings cannot be done on both Linux and Mac OS X. Microsoft Windows is more user friendly and has better multi-tasking when comparing to Max OS X and even Linux. Linux is good but not so good for everyday user. I am still getting issues while trying to install Nvidia drivers on Ubuntu. Also Microsoft Windows has more applications and better support than Linux.

Eset nod was not good enough but I must say Kaspersky was my favorite once. Still, it make my computer slow.

Somethings cannot be done on both Linux and Mac OS X. Microsoft Windows is more user friendly and has better multi-tasking when comparing to Max OS X and even Linux. I am using Microsoft security essential for last 4 yes and no virus in my system. And top of that it is free.

Actually it is the best solution for the windows lover. But it comes with original Windows OS package only and that may be a bit expensive.......I am using Norton 360 for my PC and am ok with it. But my MacBook made me relieved from this headache.
