Beleaguered blasphemy victim suffers more bail delay

The issue is not with the laws, it is the rotting system that should be enforcing those laws.

If this man is being targeted due to some rivalry and had blasphemy law not existed, there would have been some other fake crime planted on him. Since he's Christian, blasphemy was the easiest selection.

Hoping for his safety and safe return to a normal life.

I am not the Lawman and people who defined the Law, knows well (Constitution, Assembly, Parliament and Shura Council). However, if the Law is being implemented in wrong manners doesn't prove that the Law is wrong so we need proper implementation and reform of system for execution. I hope we remember the word of Justice SC (I think if I am not wrong) that if such charge is not proved, the one who made fake claim would have to face the consequences. So the Law is well balanced and all we need to implement it properly.

I don't want you or anyone to share my optimism as none has to share my Grave nor my Sins but I have to answer (my optimism is not about any person but Law). Rest about this Law has no base in Islam, I must say, I do not contradict or strike out like this because it is the part of Constitution that I am sure would have been executed after a much debate and everything be kept in view. If we don't like a Law personally doesn't mean it is not the right one that may be we are not aware of the details yet. This is not about optimism but what is implemented as if the same is wrong then everyone has to play its part to change it and mere complaining wouldn't do much.

We have a specific set of Law here to discuss that I am not fully aware with but still, looking at the procedure, somebody has to change it or the same be continued. I am still saying, the person who is wrongly charged, should be released if innocent also, I can only acknowledge a thing happened before me or on a hearsay, I will chose to keep quiet and look at the development while believing in Institution and Government/Parliament. Sometimes, things are much exaggerated contrary to the facts.

The blasphemy law should go into the dustbin of history. The prophet promoted extreme tolerance. A muslim who tolerates is the only one doing a service to his religion. Also innocents continue and are always framed by this law. It is a tool in the hands of criminals and terrorists and must go away. We don't need militants like these to be thekedars of islam. this law is actually to protect innocent minorities, just imagine a random proxy guy who took money from other country and did blaspheme and there is no law to prosecute him and then a mob burn whole village in a desperate attempt.
