Of course they are trying to impose their beliefs on to others. About 10 years ago a very gentle guy in my office was boasting how he never got a picture taken of his wedding because he was trying to follow the correct Islam where imagery is prohibited. This was a sweet gentle person. When sweet gentle people start believing in stuff like this and start avoiding movies, songs, photography and slowly their families join in, there is only one way that society is heading. You never would have seen so many burkhas appearing on Indian streets anytime before now. All of them talking the same language. Sure, there are still liberal elements but they are being snuffed out because they believe what the sweet gentle guys are telling them is the truth and it is per the Quran and Sunnah and whatever.

Again, I keep my surroundings as clean as possible. I do have the occasional problems with the roaming friends friend. But have a list of the right questions and they fall back quickly. Thats the best that can be done with the limited resources I am prepared to spend on this problem. I still do not see a menace around me in this city or the areas that come under my visit, but quite the opposite.

You know a place called DLF1 in kolkata( its near new town) ? I was there. What I saw was interesting. I saw few burkha clad woman working in a huge software company there. I have never seen this before. I realized that gradually society is radicalized because of some unknown reason. They dont want to integrate with rest of us. What we should do ?
