Beef cattle were boycotted couple of years ago when there were attacks on muslim traders and that left the farmers with no buyers... I hope something of that sorts should happen so that it will force these saffron gangs to rethink.
Purchasers boycott beef cattle, farmers and traders dismayed

Communal forces left no stone unturned to give communal touch to the purchase of beef cattle on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. Youth belonging to Qureshi community even suffered fatal attacks. Police inaction emboldened miscreants to unleash terror. Had the police dealt the situation with an iron hand the miscreants could not have the courage to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere.
But now the Qureshi community of Shadnagar has decided that they will not let any Muslim to purchase beef cattle from the largest cattle bazaar held every Tuesday at Sardarnagar. How can the purchase of cows be illegal before Eid-ul-Azha but legal after the Eid?
Elders of the area say that the farmers and shepherds anxiously wait for the bazaar held every Tuesday to sell off their beef cattle. The bazaar was also held last Tuesday as usual but more than 100 influential Muslim personalities belonging to Congress, TDP and Qureshi community reached there and stopped Muslims from purchasing the cattle. They told that they will continue the protest until police do not register cases against the miscreants who made fatal attacks on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
