What's new

Beautifull and most sacred Chruches in india

.
not just chruch attendance also mosque attendance has gone down too, regarding decreasing followers in europe they are not converting to any other religion they are just becoming atheist, and chruch attendance is booming in asia.read facts my dear bangladeshi not some local news, i dont think christianity will decline, it will just shift from europe to other central asian countries like china

Mosque attendance decline in Europe? What, are on dude. Have you any idea what's happening around Europe? Here in the uk Muslims are buying church properties and converting them to mosques, infact in some areas of london, Leeds and Birmingham there are more mosques then churches.

Mosque attendance in the uk has continually gone up, they are having to hold multiple surmouns each Friday because they don't have room.

The first and last pic are copying of hindu temples, the DVAJHA STHAMBA(Pillar with bells and flag) in front of the Garbha Gudi and the architecture is copied from hindu temples.

Churches in Southern state of Kerala have a mix of Kerala & Portuguese architectures

Ancient crosses..

Altars..
These are churches of Syrian Christians(Eastern Christians) and are very ancient ones. the first photo is that of Arakkuzha church, east of Cochin which is at the least a 1200 years old. A misconception/generalization in north India is that Christians=Goan/Manglorean Catholics which is wrong.
---
Recently, a Syro-Malanakara Church came near my place. They have literally copied Byzantine architecture.

truth is Zorastrians came as refugees first then Islam was the first religion to touch indian shores first foreign religion to touch indian shores not christianity.
I don't know how that is inculturation?
The DHVAJA STAMBHA is a unique aspect of Hindu temples how is it similar with christianity?

:blah: :blah: There are enough proofs which date back the existence of Christianity in Kerala as back as 6th century.Ever heard of Syrian Christians of Kerala ? Many stone crosses, grants from local kings written on copper plates ,and what is written on travelogue 'Cosmas Indicopleustes'.I you have doubts,go contact Archaeological Department of Kerala.

There are many hoaxes fabricated by church to show christianity came almost after jesus died,Which were debunked long time ago, yet again those debunked theories are remodeled and fed to new generation as truth hoping they would accept it as real history.Yesteryear generation rejected it, why not try it after 30 years later cos the new generation will still be learning history so they will believe it as true.
