@ Hi boltu, what beauty this Rangpur Circuit House has ? For many years I was in Rangpur. I saw this circuit house. It was made during British times. During the time of Ershad it was renovated and made two storied building in the same style. Through out this renovation work I was there and observing. Another thing previously it was red and now it is white.

@ Hey man ! this hanging bridge does not belongs to us, it belongs to India. From our side it is around 200/300 yds. I also visited this area many a times. First I visited in the year 1984.

@ I have a plan to capture this area. You know, in 1946 once the "Referendum" took place in the district of Sylhet, the local muslim people voted for Pakistan but finally it was manipulated and not given to us. Similarly, Karimganj was also not given to us.

@ I had a mind to visit USA to meet Al-zaker sometime how to capture the rest of Sylhet district.

^ i know. thats just across the border...

@ Yes Everest is sometimes visible from the northern districts of Bengal. I have seen many a times in open eyes about 90 miles away from border (Tetulia).

@ About this picture, I think it is taken either from Panchagar, Nilphamari or Lalmonirhat district closer to the border.

Everest can't be visible from Bangladesh, just look at where Everest is. KanchenJunga could be visible from northernmost parts of Bangladesh as I could see it from my hostel in North Bengal on clear days.

Try counting from page 1 to 8. We have posted nature and 'poor but happy' people of Bangladesh. As for tourists if i get any black tourists photo i will post it...

Ok dude, no need to get worked up, just saying.

...I got some pics of my own photography ( sort of ), but how to post them???

@ Whether this white snow peak is Everest or not I have no idea but in dry season sometimes in the month of August-October the same above dam thing is visible from my home town around 90 miles from Tetulia. The aireal distance may be more less but definitely the black mountain is not visible. And I presume it is Everest since it looks highest in the region.

@ LaBong may be right that it is not Everest but it is the part of Himalayan mountain. " LaBong er kotha bishash kora jao, se tu abar ojon bujhe kotha bole ".

@ I read in history that 10/11 century was the golden period of magician. During this time many miracles used to happen, the Hindus, the Christians and other major religious peoples were more tilted towards magic.

@ Now the muslim scholars were in delima how to tackle the situation soon they also started involved in such things. Soon a new theory was involved and that is none as "Sufiism". Infact it started from Persia and than it started spread through the muslim world. People said these Islamic "Sufies" were really very powerful and they could show many miracles. Like wise Hazrat Shahjalal also could show many miracles. The Shah Sultan Borkhi Mahi Sawar of Mohastangard(Bogra) also could show many miracles against the Hindu Kings. Probably that was the main reason the local people sided with these "Peer, Fokirs, Ulama Mashaik". Many of them became their "Morid" and it is still continuing. In one book I read that about 30 of our muslim population were the "Murid" of various "Peer". And through these "peer'fokirs we became muslim. Our these "Peers" were much much more stonger than those Hindu megicians. In those days the people used to go to "Kamrukkha" for learning magic.

Please consider me as your teammate while marching for the annexation, I like to be a part ...lolz.

I don't believe in Pir fakir Sufi Saints Magic. Magic is Haram! I was suprised when i saw people walking backwards in Shahjalal's grave. I was the only one who was walking forward... I didn't know the reason first. Later i realized they don't give their back to the grave of Shahjalal. This isn't Islam.... They say, If someone visits ShahJALAL but doesn't visit Shahporan ( actually his name was Shah farhan ), shah paran gets angry. I don't believe in all these Bidah...
