Beating the Germans in Germany, As usual Galatasaray story

. . .
Yeah, it was not a bad performance by Galatasaray. I think their 2. goal was a little lucky (bad defensive play from Schalke..), but they still had the upper hand during most of the game. It will be interesting to see who they are paired with. The goalkeeper did really good!

.
I still got a hangover from yesterday.

Galatasaray was definitely dominant in the first half, but most of the time in the second half they were in retreat. When Bastos made the second goal, I thought Schalke would pull it off after all. They were besieging the Turkish goal post relentlessly.

Nice performance by Sneijder btw.

Exciting game that swayed from on end to the other.

Anyway, congratz.

Bayern should have a walk in the park tonight.

Let see :butcher:

Arsenal are unpredictable and can beat any one on their day.

Gunners need to revamp their entire team ... They have had a horrible few years.

Luckily Schalke was one of the weak rings (with Galatasaray) in the chain, i supported Gs yesterday night with all my heart, in the quarters better teams are awaiting, Borussia will be the best for GS imo. I hope Fener and Gs will face in the Super Cup as Champions Leaugue and European Leaugue winners :) yea don't tell..

P.S.: Fener 4ever

Galatasaray Fans Attempted To Dig Into Schalke’s Stadium.

Some Galatasaray fans were so fervent in their need to see their team’s Champions League tie against Schalke last night that they attempted to burrow into the Veltins-Arena, using only their bare hands.

Only 2,700 tickets were allocated to Galatasaray supporters and tickets were being sold for as much as €1,000 outside the ground. So some desperate fans began digging the frozen soil in an attempt to get into the stadium underneath a fence.

Schakle sporting director, Horst Heldt, confirmed “Some supporters have tried to dig a tunnel with their bare hands.”

If only they had the ingenuity to bring something as simple as a shovel then maybe, just maybe, they would’ve stood and outside chance of seeing Galatasaray’s 3-2 and progress to the next round.

Galatasaray should pair up with Malaga tomorrow, then they do have a chance of getting to the semi-finals.
