contract already signed with US based company to build and launch the satellite and base stations plus associated services. I'm sure your GSLV will be busy launching your own stuff.

US-based Space Partnership International (SPI) has already started designing the satellite and will also help launch it under a contract signed with the governmen

They work 3rd floor in BTRC building in Dhaka. They already have 35 engineers mostly Bangladeshi.

Not all satellite are useful for every customer depending on the position in the orbit.

I guess, what iajdani meant is that the satellite will also serve some neighboring countries like Nepal, Myanmar etc who don't have satellites of their own, we are not going to sell satellites as of now.
