If you can arm Japan better than Americans and Vietnam better than Russians than you are free to do so.

Expected this - I am saying IF we had armed -a a hypothetical scenario.;

Could be the reason. Though I would stress, that all this happened after 1959.

May be /may not be.

But I am just saying negative perception of China is not due to Eastern Borders but their meddling (supplying of arms) in the Western Borders.

And this is not limited to China - any nation arming Pakistan against India will have a negative impact on Indians. The history between us is that bad.

Isn't it obvious that Pakistani ballistic missiles are just copies of Chinese missiles?

Or do you really think they developed them all by themselves?

Why cant pakistani have the ability to develop their own since the india also did?Everyone is equal,so ?

:disagree:

China sold at least 34 M-11 missiles to Pakistan in November 1992. In 1999 Pakistan displayed two "Shaheen" missiles in a military parade, which were apparently the improved longer-range CSS-7 Mod 2.

Please don't insult hard-working Indian scientists by comparing them to Pakistanis.

No tabloids. that is all.

Foreign Assistance

In the past, China played a major role in the development of Pakistan's nuclear infrastructure, especially when increasingly stringent export controls in western countries made it difficult for Pakistan to acquire materials and technology elsewhere. According to a 2001 Department of Defense report, China has supplied Pakistan with nuclear materials and expertise and has provided critical assistance in the construction of Pakistan's nuclear facilities.

In the 1990s, China designed and supplied the heavy water Khusab reactor, which plays a key role in Pakistan's production of plutonium. A subsidiary of the China National Nuclear Corporation also contributed to Pakistan's efforts to expand its uranium enrichment capabilities by providing 5,000 custom made ring magnets, which are a key component of the bearings that facilitate the high-speed rotation of centrifuges.

According to Anthony Cordesman of CSIS, China is also reported to have provided Pakistan with the design of one of its warheads, which is relatively sophisticated in design and lighter than U.S. and Soviet designed first generation warheads.

China also provided technical and material support in the completion of the Chasma nuclear power reactor and plutonium reprocessing facility, which was built in the mid 1990s. The project had been initiated as a cooperative program with France, but Pakistan's failure to sign the NPT and unwillingness to accept IAEA safeguards on its entire nuclear program caused France to terminate assistance.

According to the Defense Department report cited above, Pakistan has also acquired nuclear related and dual-use and equipment and materials from the Former Soviet Union and Western Europe.

From globalsecurity.org

China's nuclear assistance predates the 1986 Sino-Pakistani atomic cooperation agreement, with some of the most critical transfers occurring from 1980 through 1985. China is reported to have provided Pakistan with the design of one of its warheads, as well as sufficient HEU for a few weapons. The 25-kiloton design was the one used in China's fourth nuclear test, which was an atmospheric test using a ballistic missile launch. This configuration is said to be a fairly sophisticated design, with each warhead weighing considerably less than the unwieldy, first-generation US and Soviet weapons which weighed several thousand kilograms. As of 1989 it was suggested that Pakistan had a workable bomb weighing only 400 pounds. Pakistan Foreign Minister Yakub Khan was present at the Chinese Lop Nor test site to witness the test of a small nuclear device in May 1983, giving rise to speculation that a Pakistani-assembled device was detonated in this test.

Evidently the jump-start provided by A.Q. Khan's trove of documents was an insufficient basis for a dependable Uranium program. Chinese assistance in the development of gas centrifuges at Kahuta was indicated by the presence of Chinese technicians at the facility in the early 1980s. The uranium enrichment facility began operating in the early 1980s, but suffered serious start up problems. In early 1996 it was reported that the A.Q. Khan Research Laboratory had received 5,000 ring magnets, which can be used in gas centrifuges, from a subsidiary of the China National Nuclear Corporation.

So what will you call Pakistan? At least those countries join the US out of will. Pakistan joined the US out of fear when most of your countrymen are anti-American. Your guys are getting aid for letting the Americans Bomb Pakistani targets. You have the guts to criticize others. Even the Chinese will feel uncomfortable at your over the top act to please them.

A self-respecting nation like Pakistan will resist pressure from the US to release a known killer like Raymond Davis. A bootlicker like India would release & bail out Warren Anderson for killing thousands of Indians in the Bhopal Industrial Disaster. The US is killing the international network (not Pakistani citizens) of Al-Qaeda that crossed over from Afghanistan into FATA by the use of drone attacks, as well as the Afghan Taliban (Afghan citizens, not Pakistanis). Pakistan is conducting its own ground operations against the TTP (Pakistani citizens) that pose a threat to Pakistan (for example: in Swat, South Waziristan etc), just like India is conducting operations against the Maoists, Islamists & others in India.

Pakistan has an independent policy from China, India serves the orders of its master 'The US', especially in its relations with Pakistan. There are Indians who constantly claim India is a complete slave to the US when it comes to dealing with Pakistan. India is a wimp, and a slave to its masters. Pakistan does not think about China when it deals with other countries, India thinks about the US when dealing with Pakistan. India also receives more foreign aid than Pakistan or any developing country in the world. So it is indeed a boot licker and a slave. And you have just been totally OWNED :woot:

Why do we keep forgetting that America was Pakistans biggest chum not too long ago:lol: Go back to pre 9/11 era and feel the egg hitting you face.

We're not the ones getting bombed by foreign drones on a regular basis .

We aren't either, it's the international Al-Qaeda terrorists & the Afghan Taliban (Afghan Taliban) that are being hit by the drones. The Pakistan Army is conducting its own operations against the Pakistani Taliban/TTP in South Waziristan and the other Tribal Agencies. Owned :welcome:

You're not? Pretty easy to say those words sitting in the US

Drones killed 59pc civilians, 41pc terrorists

No self respecting country allows it's own territory (citizens aside) to be bombed by a foreign power. Again, no self respecting country allows itself to be used as a geopolitical chess piece and be thrown away too.

Stay in denial if you want, but your country has been a client state. First the British, then the Arabs/Americans now probably the Chinese

According to Western media outlets, most of the people killed by the drones have been terrorists. If I quote you Pakistani sources for other issues, you call these sources biased. Please make up your mind.

Come now, you prefer 'western media' more than your own country's ? A pretty slavish attitude if you ask me

.
Btw, it is the Pakistani ISI that gives the targets for the drone strikes, and if it wants, it can stop these drone strikes in the country too. It doesn't act like the slave to the US like India does. Pakistan sees the benefit in killing the terrorist scums that crossed the Afghan border into Pakistan, their Pakistani sympathizers and the Al-Qaeda scum. Hardly the actions of a slave. India on the other hand... where do i begin? Just say go, and I'll start.
