This isn't new. This was brought to the attention of London based Islam channel during a talk show. Members on the show openly claimed the BBC does not play Pakistani music/ Qawalis yet always played Indian Orion music from Bhangra to Bollywood.

Between August to December 1947 we the Pakistanis were a race of people that were on the verge of being obliterated from the face of the earth. The whole world turned their backs on us. A million of our people were killed by the sikhs. 70 years later we are a nation of 200 million strong. We are the ONLY Muslim nuclear weapons state. We have the capability to produce H-bombs and other high tech advanced weapons systems. A superpower has invested in at least $61 billion in our country with many more billions set for investment in the coming years and decades. This has all but ensured that Pakistan becomes a developed nation in a few decades from now. Compare our situation to our oppressors from 1947. The sikhs are a puny community of 25 million globally who are completely irrelevant and worthless on the world stage. The sikh consciousness died in 1984 and will never rise again. Certain sections of the Sikhs community can hate Islam and Muslims all they want. It doesn't change the fact that Baba Nanaks best friend Bhai Mardana was a Muslim. Doesn't change the fact the Sikhism has great admiration for Sufi who are Muslims. Have they forgotten where the towns of Nankana Sahib and Hassan Abdal are situated?
