I think the main issue between the youth from the Brtish Sikh and Pakistani communities have been relationships. There have been cases of Sikh women in their late teens and early twenties developing love relationships with Pakistani boys, mainly Mirpuri/ Kashmiri boys. Many Sikhs girls have even reverted to Islam which has understandably raged the British Sikh communities based mainly around the large cities in UK such as Birmingham. A decade ago a close friend of mine (Pakistani) met a Sikh girl as her car had broken down. My friend an honest decent guy and a qualified mechanic got out to help her and after an hour or so fixed the fault in her car and didn't charge her. The Sikh girl who travelled to my city from afar to attend a university conference was very happy and both exchanged phone numbers. Over the months both became good friends and the Sikh girl fell in love with my friend. She was wiling to leave her family to marry him. My friend out of respect for her and her culture declined to get involved. Other cases have shown Sikh girls leaving their family and faith to settle with their Pakistani boyfriend. Don't hear such cases of Bangladeshi or Indian Muslim relationships with Sikhs. It's always Pakistani and Sikhs due to the close Punjabi / Potwari culture. There have also been cases of Pakistani girls involved in relationships with Sikh boys. These things cause great tension amoungst the communities. It's best to keep to your own faith community. Increasingly marriages between Pakistanis Indian Muslims and Bangladeshis are occurring. Pakistanis are also marrying Turks, Iraqi Kurds, North Africans, Yemeni Arabs. It's the best thing and avoide getting involved with marriages between Pakistanis, Sikhs or even Hindus.

Here I'm seeing a lot of that happening in London too. Whereby younger Pakistanis are starting to intermarry into other Muslim communities like the Arabs, Turks, Iranians and even with Afghans. That is the trend for us in the coming years. The new generation of Pakistanis and indians don't really intermingle.

The wild bore a family of the swine is commonly found scavenging on the banks of the sacred river Ganges. The animal openly defecates in the river which is then used by pilgrims and worshippers to bathe in to purify their soul. In actual pork is closer to India.

The pains of partition are still present but many of them realised the true hidden agenda of their Hindu rulers as to how they repiad them for their loyalty. They honoured the Sikhs with 1984.
