Pakistan Army has hit them really bad - they were neither ready, nor had anticipated the ferocity.....for them it was an election stunt.

There is no such thing as a BAT on the Pakistani side. This is an Indian concoction - they claim it's a team comprised of Pakistani soldiers and militants. It makes absolutely no sense for a professional army to deploy regular, well trained soldiers with militants whose training and ability to follow commands as part of any high risk cross-LoC operation would be suspect, and put the entire team at risk.
