Why would anyone give a crap what Bannon says.
As an analyst, he's second worst only to Trump. His psychology is similar to that of Erdoğan and other revisionists.

He reads today's newspaper, and then think to himself: "Oh, which is this country called Turkey, I've never heard of it! Seems their leader likes Ottomans... Hmmm... I've read on Wikipedia that they've enslaved white people! This is, BAD!"

Iran's leadership is not playing the role it should here. They are so caught up with matching Saudi in it's fassad that they are missing the real opportunity. Iran is in the middle of two power sunni countries who it can be allies with and working together, all three states can be safe. Pakistan/Turkey/Iran, all three countries with big potential, we all have assets that the other doesn't, we should be working day and night to have the greatest possible level of political, economic and military cooperation.

Unfortunately this has been the mentality of some ultra conservatives in Iran for centuries. They refuse to work with sunni states, meanwhile our politics flips flops between instability and crisis and the Turks have only recently stopped seeing themselves as Westerners. The time for all this BS of the past to stop is NOW.
