Banning procedure

A person who is banned, should be able to log in, see the notifications and read the posts. But he shouldn't be able to participate in the forum in any way. Like he would be in read only mode.

2. He should be able to contact admins, staff members and title holders so that he immediately gets 'bail' and returns to the discussion.

Rest of his matter could be solved in GHQ.

This procedure will help preserve one's account, not that one loses an account and rushes to make another one. It is interactive method so it will increase communication between staff and members. It will also help continue the discussion without any break.

This is a technical limitation. There is no way to show how long a member is banned for to the member if we go down that route.

On creating another account front. We have approval procedure in place so it is hard to create multiple accounts these days.
