What's new

Bankruptcy is no big deal for us. Zardari

The generals of the British Indian Army of West Pakistan have destroyed Karachi by forcing this MC down Karachi's throat non-stop for the last 30 years.

Karachi which could have been one of the greatest cities in the world has been turned by MC Zardari and MC Generals into one of the worst hellholes on earth.

May God destroy them and may they all burn in hell.

+/-5% so realistically it can be 45% ..
That's a possibility

The survey was well balance and statistically good

Unless they are lying but historically they have been very close to election results

Should not believe politically motivated surveys.

I would've respected him if he said, "We're not repaying any debt! Come get it if you want it."

Instead, he put up this hopesy-daisy, "It will pass" comment.

Same happened to Egypt, and UK captured Egypt in Past.

There were issue in Riko Dik deal, UK court ordered to sale property of govt of Pakistan for plenty, then Pakistan had to settle the matter with foreign company.

3rd, UN institutes will start kicking @$$.

In case of a default, we should make a regional treaty with Afghanistan and Iran and Central Asian Republics which are under Russian influence and start trading with them in local currencies or Gold and Silver or Barter Trade. Also possible with India and China. Get Palm Oil from Indonesia & Malaysia in local currency or Gold & Silver. Buy Petrol and Diesel from Iran and Russia on cheap rates. End agreements with IPPs and stop buying expensive electricity from them. Similarly, buy LNG from Qatar and pay them in Wheat, Sugar and Rice. Sell garments and rock salt to African countries. In season, sell vegetables and fruits to UAE and get Gold and Silver from them in return.

Also nationalize the businesses of UK and western companies in Pakistan if they touch our assets abroad.

The first thing that needs to be done in case of default is to confiscate all the properties of Zardari gang, Nawaz gang, generals gang, and all the other criminals in the country. That alone will be worth more than all of Pakistan's foreign debts.

Its ordinary people suffer

hope you invest in good security doors and locks , when the mobs go looting hungry

I am in Pakistan for a temporary visit. Today I sat with a fellow rickshaw driver. A police officer drove by and hit a puddle of water which splashed the rickshaw driver. It made the young fellow angry. He made some gestures to the police officer to watch out. The police officer opened the door of his car and told the young fellow to be more "tolerant" and "patient". I watched on. The young fellow again made some gestures and the police officer drove off angrily in arrogance. The angry looks of the police officer in the car were telling. As if he wanted to literally kill the rickshaw driver.

It is what the young fellow said in the heat of the moment which really struck me. He said that the day isn't far off when the people will grab these "officials" in power by their neck and drag them on the streets. The officials in power are corrupt and arrogant. They don't care about the people. It really made me think for a moment. This is not the Pakistan I have seen before. Day 1 in Pakistan and I am already seeing a changed Pakistan all around me.

the guy is absolute dangerous he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Them again , people in the crowd listening to this cRap are dumb as him. The repercussions are severe. Capital leaves, investment dries up, the country may have a hard time importing anything, and there will be internal turmoil. The country will have a hard time borrowing in the international marketplace for a long time.
Currently defaulted countries. Only rated, countries like Afghanistan, North Korea, Myanmar, Haiti, Somalia, Sudan, Yemen are not rated due to instability.

Belarus
Lebanon
Sri Lanka
Suriname
Venezuela
Zambia
Ghana
Belize
Russia
Argentina

Zardari should learn about these countries before joining their club.

Except karachi, every major city have suburban agricultural lands and is self sufficient on food.
We dont buy basic food from abroad and our agriculture is predominantly done by farmers not large scale agriculture companies. Older agricultural techniques can be used as desperate measure in case of chronic fuel shortage. But you will not run out of Wheat Rice spices salt and Veggies.
This ancient farmer system have hampered the agricultural growth of Pakistan as this sector is not commercialised and yields remain low.We have like 60% of wheat yield per acre compared to Australia but this system is also resilient as hell.
Unlile western countries the basic food supply chain is fairly simple.
And i am sure even in worst kind of fuel shortages, we can manage to supply food to a few big cities like Lahore and Karachi.
In my City. Fertile Agri crops are literally like 20 KM away from city areas. You can even load animal carts into cities for that distance(As it was practice 30 years ago)
But industry retail will be severely effected. Living standards of middle class will nose dive.

It should be done all at once when the stake holders agree to changing the present system.

Like we all take our money and march out to the market to buy up all the gold coins we can find? Anybody see problems with that mayhem? A referendum is not going to help. After all, Gen Zia got 98.5% of the vote in his referendum to properly Islamize the country. We can all see what actually happened.

The Islamic Constitution by Taqiuddin An Nabhani is easily available and is based on Islamic evidences.

Does this most excellent perfectest Consitution based on Islamic evidences have a section on how to start this transition that you propose?
