Bangladesh has confirmed it wants to remove Professor Mohammad Yunus, the Nobel Peace Prize-winning microfinance pioneer, as head of the Grameen Bank he founded. The bank has been credited with lifting millions of women out of poverty.

Can't he be co-chairman or Head of the bank to provide or transfer his knowledge to another young new head of the bank?

Why does she keep doing this ? She has nothing to gain.

Salman Rahman of Beximco Group said this in 2009,

Salman Rahman made several other vague and sweeping accusations against The Daily Star and Prothom Alo. He claimed that these two papers have been involved in a persistent malicious campaign against his company and have indulged in unethical journalism to malign his industries in order to prevent the materialisation of his companies ambitious growth plans.

Stock Market is going through severe turmoils. Salman is the guy everybody is pointing at for the woes at stock market. He is also the guy everybody blames for 1996 losses at the market. I remember Mr. Muhith saying a few months ago that all is well with the market.

Hasina is busy demonising Dr. Yunus !!!

I still believe, few people like Dr. Yunus represents a different Bangladesh. So, he is something like a positive Bangladesh. If AL keeps doing it, BNP should take a chance to save countries image. I Cant support govt act against Dr. Yunus anyhow.
