Islam protects it purity of thought and deed very zealously unlike other religions.

Yes, but are your religious leaders supposed to be footloose on sex? So according to your logic this imams action is immoral only because of Islam but when hindu priests or other religious leaders do it, its okay because their religion is not as strict? Last time I checked, all religions more or less condemns sexual offences. Why specifically target one specific religion to prove your point when you can look any religion to prove your point? In Uganda, Christian fundamentalist governments still hang gay people. I am not trying to point fingers to other religions to overshadow is this imam's actions, but targeting a specific religion's action which can be seen in all religions and even cultures, is just plain wrong.
