Really? Are you discounting the ethnic minorities? I've met a few of Garo Christians and Buddhist from the Hill tracts. You can most likely find Buddhists and probably Catholics in Chittagong me thinks.

I did meet one Bengali Christian convert in Dhaka when I visited this January.

I am not trying to obfuscate by sharing my personal account to say it has any validity on the macro picture in the country. I was just saying that even though all my life was in Dhaka, I didn't meet any christian Bangladeshi or buddhist Bangladeshi. Of course, I agree that there is great number of people in Hill tacts from other faiths.

Now that I think about it though, I have seen one different ethnic group in female parlours(?). Don't know what religion they practise though.

Maybe it's a different time I suppose. I tend to visit BD every other year and they seem to be growing amount. They become more and more frequent.

I don't like the way Israel treats Palestinians. That's there to it. People are getting brutally murdered in many places. The Rohingyas, people in Syria....in may places of Africa. I don't care more about Palestinians than others. Besides Palestinians aren't helping themselves to begin with, what can a poor country like ours do for them?

Above all I think we should look for our own good, when it comes to diplomatic relations with others. Crying over Palestine issue won't do us any good.
