Dude just give it up. Its getting a bit embarrassing.
Visit Sylhet, you will get to stay in villas with far superior facilities and designs that even your elite owns, at far cheap rates.
As I said, if you want to compare luxury facilities, compare the number of international chain hotels, a single Bangladeshi city of Cox's Bazar beats entire Pakistan hands down.
TBH I am not one to get into such pissing contests but I have been seeing so much nonsense recently I though I had to show some people the reality.
Welcome to the reason this subforum turned me against BD (esp specific members here) a whole bunch.
Stupidity + denial + last word complex....among other deeper festering reasons that got surfaced once I explored into the depths somewhat. It is why I have the scars (bans) to show for it....but everyone more or less figures out the same thing increasingly because of the corners I have pushed these guys in over time

This is a conversation about Residential areas and suburbs where normal people live full time. Not a random hotel at a vacation spot. Bahria towns and DHA's is about a particular lifestyle. Theme park is under construction in one and every other one has Golf courses, safaris, No load-shedding, World class schools and hospitals and what not.
Well, such international chain hotels are not just about a vacation spot. They are also the usual venue for corporate meetings as well as residential facilities for expats and tourists.
We have theme parks in Bangladesh for decades now, nothing new.
How is that beneficial compared to thousands of people which actually enjoy an international standard of living? Bahria town has won prestigious International awards for the quality of life that it's providing beating other Asian communities.

Bahria Golf City Islamabad won “Five Star Best Property Single Unit” award for the Mediterranean style villas, while the Sheraton Hotel was adjudged “Five Star Best New Hotel Construction & Design,” for its innovative design and world class services and facilities.
The Mediterranean styled Bahria Oasis farmhouses project in Lahore was ranked “Highly Commended Interior Design Show Home,” for its high quality construction and finishes.
The Bahria Grand, a hotel in Bahria Town got “Five Star Best New Small Hotel Construction & Design,” and The Gold Spa & Fitness Club located at the Mall of Lahore was ranked “Highly Commended Best Leisure Interior,” for its world class ambience.
“I am thankful to God Almighty and this is a great honor for the people of Pakistan that our model communities are considered above and beyond the modern neighborhoods in the developed world,” said former chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz Hussain.
Its not just about Bahria town . Let's have drone shots over Dhaka and Lahore and you will get a dose of reality.
have seen them.
Lahore is all about wide and empty roads,
Lahore doesn't even have a single international chain hotel.
If you knew the mechanism of the finances of such organisers of international conferences, you wouldn't have quoted them here.
Lahore is all about wide and empty roads, have seen them. Chittagong has more high-rises than Lahore.
Lahore doesn't even have a single international chain hotel.

@Hell hound , dissing your beautiful city like this bhai. Such facepalm.
Yes, I wonder why BD never seem to win anything if the criteria is so bad. Anything Lahore has blows your tiny Chittagong out of the park. Go to Lahore section of the pictures and see what it's all about.
So you seem to have found enough time after your daily labor in the sewage tunnels. That's like a good Tamil!
Of course, the facilities offered for Middle class Pakistani at Bahria town is something elite BD people won't be imagining for the next few decades.
7 % growth rate and can't even have a half decent sewage system or a normal road in any of your cities.
What kind of homes are there exactly in your subarbs?
I don't think even the elite in BD have such houses.
Chittagong port alone handles an international trade of more than $80 billion
