Bangladesh Plans To Buy 2 Gigawatts Of Solar From India

I am least bothered about it. According to our 2041 masterplan for electricity sector, 10 percent of the total electricity demand will come from regional countries(India, Nepal, Bhutan). Rest of the 90 percent will come from internal sources out of which 20 percent will come from Nuclear power plant. Imported LNG, Thermal along with domestic gas and renewable will fill-up the rest.

90% of electricity supply will still come from BD plants and so no big deal to import from Nepal, Bhutan and India.
I wonder how long until we will no longer be able to produce more... (land shortages etc) maybe bigger plants will replace existing ones maybe more reactors idk

Nah, BD government is planning to turn Islands into power generation hubs.
BD has enough space to generate ample power.

Yeah that I know... xD

I was wondering if India buys to meet their demands as well as to sell to us for ex.
Like I said, if you want electricity in Bihar you can't transport it to large distances without considerable losses. It's economical to export to BD. And also, it's economical to buy from Bhutan or Nepal.
