Bangladesh plans to build its first satellite

No, what I meant to say was that the highest amount ISRO ever spent was on that moon mission which includes a satellite, a lander and the big *** launcher rocket itself. A satellite no matter how many frills it has shouldn't cost that much. Well thats just my opinion.

No disrespect, but part of it could be going into your politicians pockets.

well it includes an American firm where the pay is very high, and if launched on an american rocket it will cost a lot too. and if it comes with training and such "services" thats additional costs.

side note, the Indian mission does not include lander it was an impactor

A commercial satellite always costs more as it will include lots of patented staffs, also it must conform with the existing protocols to communicate with 3rd party satellites and ground stations. Its not a test satellite for a particular mission and limited lifetime. The satellite may be launched from China and will not cost much.

Well $150 million is the budget for the project. Lets see how much they ending up spending. People are using 100s of satellites for different purpose but i dont know exactly which ones though.

But wasn't the point to help BD??

Not all satellites are same, sputnik was also a satellite:lol:. They have different price ranges.

Around half of the amount of money will take place in the pockets of BAL leaders. They are really bal.
