Dude, unlike previously we are seeing a BD govt that seems more inward looking. No grand designs for the outside world but very focused inward. I don't think that there is any BD PM so well established to demand things for the Indian PM. I believe she bluntly told MMS what she got was 'not enough' and MMS immediately went back to relook. Obviously she's been hard bargaining with the Indian establishment through her ULFA and other policies in a way no one from your country has. 'Give' and 'Take' well executed.

But he fought against all his powerful rivals and won. Then he reformed China, and his legacy continues today with the reforms we are carrying out.

The realization that economics needed a more expert approach came only in the last 3 decades. Till then most people of asia thought 'worldly wise' understanding of economics was more than enough to run a country. Rewind to 40 odd years ago and in one of Mao's revolutions he decided to increase 'inron' production by building kilns in villages. People just didn't get it those days.
