Bangladesh-Oregon partnership and another aviation exercise
Randy L. Rasmussen / The OregonianAn F-15 fighter jet of the Oregon Air National Guard's 142nd Fighter Wing takes off on a practice flight from the airbase at Portland International Airport in this 2008 photo. The jet is streaming vapor which condenses on the plane during take-off on in damp weather.
The Oregon National Guard sent out a couple of noteworthy items overnight:
Oregon's Military Department continues to forge ties with military and civilian counterparts in Bangladesh under the National Guard Bureau's State Partnership Program. An Oregon delegation led by Air Guard Col. Mark Crosby is visiting Bangladesh this month to collaborate on a variety of initiatives, including military flight operations and emergency medical treatment. The Oregon group also will participate in a multinational peacekeeping exercise with Bangladesh, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Jordan, Brunei, Canada, Indonesia, Mongolia, Vietnam and others. The Portland Police Bureau has also taken part in some of the cooperative programs.
In Nevada, 90 members of the Oregon Air Guard's 142nd Fighter Wing are participating in another exercise, this one called Red Flag. The Guard members and six of their F-15s are participating in the exercise through March 16.

Report seems quite vague, although has some key points.
