Bangladesh Election 2018 - PDF Poll

Who is your preferred party currently?

  • Total voters
    42
  • Poll closed .
BNP is just a name bhai. This party is a continuation of Muslim league and this Muslim league was born in Dhaka long before Awami League.
So if BNP take part in this election even without zia family, they will remain unharmed.
If they again boycott election the it will be end of the politics of zia family.
IMHO, Muslim league heritage of Bangladesh will never die as it's stronger than awami pseudo-secular idea.
Just they may change name , or may break and form another BNP , as in Pakistan Muslim league of Nawaz is the main party.
So BNP also can make such team and can be elevated.

The reality is, this two families have less chance of surviving after this two Begum.
Although Tareq is vice chairperson of BNP but he hasn't come, he is a refuge and don't think he will be able to come back.
And joy isn't active in politics , so who is the next after hasina?
No other members of Mujib family is active either. (I don't count fazlul karim as a family member of Mujib).
So finally after hasina BAL has to choose different leader.
Problem is with BNP, either they will take the decision to take part in election (with or without zia family) , or they will be finished and will form a new power ( surely based on anti BAL ground) , so IMO inshallah Bangladesh politics will move to the right direction .

@asgur

Why do u always show the level of ur intelligence?

Have u ever read a single history book in ur life? I m pretty sure these types of history r taught in primary level.

BNP is the continuation of Muslim League ? What's next? Looks like next time u'll claim maududi as the creator of Muslim League

Nah I’m talking about BNP... you said the Muslim votes go to them... I don’t see anything muslim about them
As u already know, they have absolutely no relation with Muslim league. The whole party is filled with bureaucrats and businessmen.

The same disease has caught AL too. Day by day they r also becoming a party which is filled with business person who r getting all the key positions and hard working grass root workers r constantly getting ignored.

This is normal in a democracy, infact that’s the main setback of democracy, the rich powerful businessmen will be in key positions.
What matters is AL don’t **** up like BNP... do corruption to your hearts desire but not at the cost of people living a terrible life

But that's the problem, don't u think? Corruption is always done at the cost of innocent public.

Look at the share market. The guy who looted the money is really close to AL. When a businessman is made the leader of the people he'll always give priority to his business since they r doing this politics just to facilitate their business. Nothing else. If a problem arises they will just swiftly chacha side just to keep their corruption going. As they say, gaser tao khabo, tolar tao kurabo.

BNP is the successor of Muslim league. Now go back to school. :p:
@Mage don't pay attention to this liar sanghi , if you really want to know what I have said .
I didn't say that BNP is succsor of Muslim league .
I said that after 1971 war and after BAKSHAL regime when BNP was established, they were exactly getting votes of Muslim league of East pakistan, same vote bank is voyinv for BNP .
That made them the continuation of Muslim league of joint Pakistan .
@Mage

Okay so what's the connection between Muslim league and BNP? Did I miss something?

After Baksal all the parties were banned. BNP established after Zia came to power....they were getting votes from anyone....although the way Zia conducted election was questionable.

Present day BNP voters have nothing to do with Muslim league. Most voters have never seen Muslim league in the ballot ever to begin with. They either vote for BNP because of Zia's work or they dislike Awami league for various reasons and see BNP as the only viable alternative.

@Mage ,
BNP finally got vote in 1991 and it's not because Zia's work as Zia survived only few years that was not enough to gain such huge support, political establishment isn't so simple as you are thinking.

And awami league was banned by mujib in order to make BAKSHAL, still this is the same awami league root of 1949 .

Imagine that if pakistan would never break , then probably two side remained in Politics. Right wing and left wing .
I said muslim league vote as those wings aka right wing .

But if still you want to push the argument of what BD peoples will do or what not , bla bla bla ... I am not interested . If you don't understand political heritage of indian sub Continent , then there is no point of arguing .
And also this thread is about the next election, not about political history. I wouldn't even answer this post , but I answered in order to counter the sanghi filth who is trying to spoil the thread like other threads.

Before calling others lier, take some basic education u FOOL.

Who were the voters of Muslim league? Which vote bank was or is getting enjoyed by BNP?

85% of the Bangladeshis r Muslims. The founder of BNP was an army personnel without any political background. Muslims voted for BNP, just like the way Muslims are now voting for BNP and AL

Just because Muslims voted for BNP(which is quite obvious since a most of the voters in Bangladesh were Muslim) doesn't necessarily mean that party was the continuation of muslim league.

You are such a clown who even don't know how to argue . That's why you are projecting your lies or faulty understanding whatever it is!
Peoples like you always equate islam , Muslim with pakistan and secularism with bangladesh, and that is the real reason of chaos in BD .

I said muslim league so probably you have reached to the conclusion that I equated half of bengali with pakistan , and then started barking.
But you forget that all India muslim league was founded in Dhaka and after the creation of Pakistan , they split and form pakistan Muslim league .
Then bhaasani a leftist made awami Muslim league that later re named as awami league because it wanted to show itself as secular.

I was talking about politcal line that is fixed in BD .

Most of right wingers will never vote awami league until it change it's secular agenda, because right wingers will not support a self proclaimed scular party .

owever one good point you have made and that already defeated the argument of @Mage.

Yes mage that's what I wanted to say that the work of Zia isn't enough to get such huge vote .

Spot on.

Those elections were obviously questionable (I m not using the word rigid just to give respect to one of the major contributors of our liberation war) . But still I will give him the credit for starting politics involving multiple parties.

But neither they had any relation with Muslim league nor they were a continuation of them by any stretch of imagination..

Listen u dumbass fool, u shouldn't have taken part of my post in ur earlier reply then.

There is hardly any right wing or left wing in BD politics. There r few left leaning parties but they r insignificant without the help of major political parties. Al and BNP both r Liberal parties. People vote them in cycle. If they vote one party now, in next term they will vote fir another. They aren't voting for left or right wing. U should keep that hilarious prediction to urself.
