Right before the Preamble it says the following:

(In the name of Allah, the Beneficient, the Merciful)/
In the name of the Creator, the Merciful.]
And Section 2A states:
2A. The state religion of the Republic is Islam, but the State shall ensure equal status and equal right in the practice of the Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and other religions.]
If Bangladesh is not Islamic why are these two things in its Constitution?
Bangladesh was secular before 2011 but then it changed its Constitution to make it more Islamic.
