Bangladesh actually will keep only two kind of aircraft. Long range MRCA and a single engine MRCA.
SU-30 and J-10 are the ideal candidates until the 5th gen.

For SU-30 money is already allocated. It is in the tender process.
For J-10 will be the replacement for F-7s. Government to Government contract will do the tricks. They usually pay by suppliers credit and friendship price.

These are not farm fish. So not much to export. Even Indians do cry for it every now and then despite we try to export to them.

I think BD will go for Russian su30/35 for new multi role aircraft And they will replace those old f7s with new Chinese j 10. Chinese loan may be a solution. BD has a great relation with those CHINESE gov.

Anyway, good step from BD if the J10 story is true. Very potent aircraft for the price.

About Tejas, it's unfortunate that India didn't go the JF17 way of mass producing a half-cooked (but not as uncooked as JF17) aircraft and slowly developing it, but ONLY FOR EXPORTS. Would've been a good call for BD.
Now we have a very good aircraft, but nowhere close to exporting.

Either way, very exciting news for BD Air Force fans.
