The MiG-29A was not designed for an advanced air-to-ground capability, this is substantially improved by the SMT upgrade; features include air-to-ground radar detection and integrated air-to-ground guided weapons.[126] The upgraded Zhuk-ME radar provides similar features to the MiG-29M. 64 is too much we have to be realistic
the yak130 we have is a advance fighter trainer to next gen so anything less then mig 35 or su30 is a waste
i would say 40 plane or su30 and mig35 all in will do
minus off course the old f7 and other old planes

what i know even mayanmar still operating 31 mig-29 so i don,t think 4 squaddron each of 16 unit is not so ambisious. however sukhoi is different story. even 16 su 30 mk2 is quiet good.

Is MiG-29M2 the land-based version of Mig-29K? Maybe with undercarriage that is not as strong like Mig-29K (needed for carrier landings)?

.
some places it says it is said it is mig29 m which was the original one not sure of the source is right or wrong
yes the aircraft carrier based is different when it come to undercarriage belly the wing the engine the body coat
