Dude, seriously this is getting out of hand. I think the real reason is that the auto drivers (basically hoodlums with nothing else to do) have been co-opted by the likes of Kannada Rakshana Vedike etc. to 'protect' kannda. They have no decency and now have a 'cause'.

I mean native urdu speaking muslims..
Muslims are considered as a separate race in Karnataka like urdu Muslims,byari Muslims,kodava mapple etc..

We don't have any such issues here in telangana.A Hindi person can stay here his entire life without ever having the need to learn Telugu.

I look at the positives of it, and I learnt kannada in 6 yo 8 months

No, not only beef, I am against all animal slaughter personally. Ecological costs are too huge to maintain a non veg diet. But to each his own. Good.Doesn't matter how liberal or broadminded locals may be ,every immigrant should at least try to learn the native language if he plans stay for long there.It brings respect and affection to you from locals.
