every time racial issue is thrown if you face when your police shoot an unarmed Black kid, you are a monitory yourself, Asians being one of the weakest group in the US discriminated by even Black and Latinos, you should have first hand experience yourself, and it should not be something new to you.

I am of a minority racial group in the US, but I have given orders to whites, blacks, Latinos, and Asians alike. I gave and received orders. I was entrusted with many of the nation's military secrets to do my job. Yes, I do know what it is like to be a minority in the US, but I also know what it is like to behave like a civilized human being.

I know that as a Chinese, it is very difficult for you to see things outside the racial perspective because that is how you were probably raised. But not everything have a racial component to it.

You are right, we Chinese were not raised into calling people names by their skin color, you can keep all that good-old american tradition to yourself and your kids.

I guess the riots is about both, although I would suspect it is more about ethnicity than race if we consider ethnicity more of a cultural construct (and race of a biological construct). One might as well say it is more about class relations (hence economic) as one might see Black cops brutalizing Black men -- Race seems not cut through the larger socio-cultural (ethnic) differences.

Race might be involved as you say but, although I do not know to what degree, ethnicity seems to be involved, as well.

no, it is not about both, IT CANNOT BE ABOUT BOTH, because that would be contradict each other, black and ethnic minority cannot be put together, simply because you can be of same ethnic group but different skin color, you can be a White-African (South Africa, Zimbabwean) or you can be a Black European (North African/Southern Europe). And Hispanic ethnic alone already have Black, White and Yellow Skin Tone.

While Race is a blanket term, ethnic is a specific term, you cannot be discriminate the same Race and Ethnic group as they do not always exist together.

The Riot is Baltmore are complaint about Black people being mistreated by White Cops, but do you think the cops discriminate the black depend on their ethnicity?? So they only go after the African-American but they did not discriminate about Black Hispanic??

So either you want to be a PC about race and ethnic group together (Like all African are Black or All Asian are Yellow) otherwise what you are saying cannot happen in real life.

I was not a cook and once I was entrusted with nuclear target codes, pal. As far as security clearance goes, you do not know what the hell you are talking about. A pass on the background check does not automatically entitle a person to 'Top Secret' clearance, which I had. With a pass, you can still be allowed to only 'Secret'.

I don't have contempt for the US, but I don't defend the US, all I said was facts which by the way didn't come from Chinese media.
US does not have the smartest people but US does has the best education system, that is also a fact.
