Look guys - Mumbai or Bombay belongs to the people.

How it develops and morphs and evolves is by the people.

There is no one Mumbaikar - elitist South Mumbai socialite or Matunga marathi manoos or Pal Galli miya bhai.

Just as there is no one Mumbai.

Yes he was. he advocated formation of Hindu Suicide squads to take on Muslims in India
He advocated protests against western culture too. shiv sainaiks launched such protests
He and his supporters advocated hateful drives against FM Hussain.
His followers spread hate against non-Marathis

I even advocate India to take drastic steps like Israel took against the terrorists and kill terrorists hiding in Pakistan like MOSSAD killed. Advocating and exectuting are two different things. Did even one Suicide squad attacked anyone ? No.

He advocated Protest, not advocated genocide or ethnic cleansing. In India, you can protest about anything. Its called democracy. Freedom of speech.

He is not responsible for what his followers do. If a nut job takes wrong interpretation and take wrong path to do what he thinks Bala Saheb words mean, its his problem. Just the way you don't blame Islam because a nut job misinterpreted it and carry out terrorist attacks.

So, I again say, he was wrong about few things, but he did too good for his own people too. Problem is, just because he was crystal clear in his agenda and words, he was highlighted as some sort of villain just because he didn't sugar coated his words. There are much more worse people in our countries, that have spread more hate, caused actual deaths and caused suffering to millions of people but we overlook it because media is adamant to report about them.

I am surprised that so many Pakistanis are getting so much riled up about Bala Saheb even when it was Nehru family that actually affected them the most. You should rather hate Indira Gandhi more than Bala Saheb.

But I think people here just want to go against the tide, since Bala Saheb is revered by so many, what's better way to make Indians angry, just post negative statements about the person in conversation.

Bal Thackeray last journey to the cremation ground brought 2milion of his loyal supporters to pay respect to his dead body that's the kind of charisma the man held. No wonder he got full state honors at his funerals.

You must have been very close to acknowledge the highlighted part, but then being a Man a$$ you must be well accustomed to such.

Col Purohit and Co, wasn't sent by him. You can't blame Neistchze for misinterpretation by Hitler and Nazi party and their crimes.

You got one case of Col. Purohit, the attack was reactionary attack. If you need analogy, when you say Israel is terrorist and Hamas is reactionary, so in same way Col. Purohit and Co was like Hamas. And I hate both Col. Purohit and Hamas for their means of protest.

And BTW Col. Purohit has not been found guilty, just like famous social activist HS. If you know what I mean.

Babri Masjid....kid go along, play with your teenage friends. If Bala Saheb wanted to kill Muslims or Shiv Sena wanted to do so, they could have done for any reason. Mumbai train bomb blasts at Ghatkopar was work of a Muslim family that visited Pakistan. They were shown videos on Godhara and it was first time discovered that terrorist may not be few single men living together. They can be living as a family too.

That reason was enough for Shiv Sena to kill all Muslims in Mumbai. But they didn't. So learn some more about things in reality then randomly posting stuff that doesn't belong here.

All I see a wannabe debater is Babri Masjid, poor Muslims, Hindu terrorists, mix it, shake it well, and voila, you have new theory.

You can fool some new members of your age, not us or even senior Pakistani members.
