He crushed it brutally when no other politician dare take on them. He made Mumbai safe that one could go out at 3 in the morning and return home safe. He improved the infra of the city by leaps and bounds. That would be his legacy to his admirers.

Why would he do against the Parsis who were living there for centuries and were not considered outsiders ? He was not against migrants. He was against those who did not respect the local culture. And the frank truth is some Biharis and UP ites dont give a **** to local culture and try to impose their culture on the local people. for example some time back there was a demand to make Hindi the sole official language in the BMC by the likes of Abu Azmi.
