You forget that the Yemeni army, loyal to Salah , is trained to use anti aircraft weapons and Sams... their aviation was certainly decimated, it does not mean that that their air defense is.

Then it looks like that the pilots are not making good use of ECM (Electronic Counter Measures)

No reason to believe that enemy action brought the F-16 down. Please come with some tangible evidence or stop speculating. Every machine is susceptible to failure and it happens in every air force. Good thing the pilot survived.
