Modi slams Rahul over 1984
riots; asks, 'Did your party in
anger killed Sikh?'
NEW DELHI: BJP's prime ministerial
candidate Narendra Modi on Friday
raised the issue of 1984 anti-Sikh riots in
Delhi and slammed Rahul Gandhi for
rubbing salt in the wounds of the victims.
Addressing the Vijay Shankhnaad rally in
Jhansi of the Bundelkhand region, Modi
made a direct attack on Rahul Gandhi.
Raising the issue of killing of Sikhs after
the murder of Indira Gandhi, Modi said,
'Want to ask shahzada, did your party in
anger, when your grandmother died,
killed Sikhs?'
The Gujarat chief minister also slammed
Rahul's comments on Muzaffarnagar riots
and his remarks on ISI luring Muslims.
Why and how did the intelligence
officers share information with Rahul
Gandhi? he asked.
You gave the Congress government 60
years, give us only 60 months, Modi said
seeking votes for BJP in the coming
elections.
Don't make me PM, make me a
chowkidar, he said.
