BAF air to air firing exercise concludes

Chittagong, Apr 5 (UNB) - The annual Air to Air Live Firing Exercise, “Ex Thunder Arrow,” of Bangladesh Air Force concluded on Thursday in Kutubdia firing range.

The month-long air firing exercise started on March 4, an ISPR release said.

Besides, air to air firing and missile firing, different air combat maneuvers and tactics have been practiced and evaluated by all BAF fighter aircraft during this exercise.

About 70 BAF fighter pilots along with more than 300 BAF personnel of different ranks participated and got an opportunity to evaluate various combat tactics.

Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal SM Ziaur Rahman actively participated in the air to air missile firing and air combat maneuvers by flying one MiG-29 fighter aircraft on March 14.

MiG-29, F-7, FT-7, A-5IIIA and L-39 fighter aircraft of different Fighter Squadrons of BAF Base Zahurul Haque and BAF Base Kurmitola took part in this exercise.
