What nonsense is this?

Badakhshan does not share a border with Indian Occupied Kashmir. Secondly, even if the Taliban wanted to get to IoK, Badakhshan would be the least viable route, which brings us to a major point, the Taliban is NOT interested in Kashmir, we need to understand this.

That is indeed an interesting development. This has many a dimensions forboth Pakistan and the future of Kashmir issue.

Let's see how the issue progresses future.
India's occupation of Kashmir is doomed, that's how it is going to play out. War will break out on 3 fronts now, more headache for the Indians.

This topic is under fake news category since India has no border with Afghanistan. Time to delete the thread.

So, Pakistan finally acknowledges that Gilgit-Baltistan is part of India. That is a good start
corrections. WAS a part of india, and that too, british india as a princely state. It's a province of Pakistan now buddy that you indians gotta get square with along with the fact (yes, FACT) that the iiok side is increasingly getting smaller in size...you just ceded more than 1100 sq km of iiok to China earlier this year. no THAT is a good start, get the indians mentally prepared to eventually cede the rest of iiok to pakistan & China. :enjoy:

here, just to keep the reality checks fresh in an otherwise hallucinating sanghi mind... ;)

The original post has bad research. When he said that the Taliban have reached, IOK, I thought Gilgit Baltistan had fallen.

Furthermore, OP displayed typical attitude that other militant groups will fight our wars in Kashmir. No one will do that for you. If Kashmiris themselves, and Pakistan's political and military leadership is not willing to get hands dirty, then please dont open up a map showing how Taliban will give Indians a tough time. We did this for a long time, never worked; always backfired. You know why? In the end they are still as uneducated and uncultured as you trained them to be. They will bite the feeding hand because their brains cannot process morality/politics/education/schools/working_for_money/tech. .... amoung other things.

But I will be happy to correct any specific error.

Pakistan's state policy is that the entire Kashmir (Including GB) is part of Kashmir and will be settled as the future of Kashmir is decided. Since Taliban now connect Kashmir, they also connect Kashmir a part of which is under Indian occupation.
I agree with the other poster, it is bordering with Pakistan controlled Kashmir, not with IOK. Hope that makes it a little more clear.

Time for Taliban to invest in India

Badakhshan, the Afghanistan province that was historically under Indian backed "Nother Alliance" has now been captured by Taliban. The updated map shows Taliban are in uncontested control of the territory with only Faisabad district where fighting is still going on. With this gain, Taliban now share a border with Kashmir.

I wanted to share this news with my Indian friends so they can start $ing bricks. There is no America coming (back) to save them, nor Russia is on terms with India. Now in addition to China and Pakistan, India's new enemy is at its door connecting Azad Kashmir leading to Indian occupationKashmir.

This is coming from a hardcore PK patriot. What exactly are we gaining by cheerleading Talibs in Afghanistan? Indian influence is will diminish I get that but what about our own country? Would you want TTP to rule your own country?

The answer is no because they are a bunch of animals that have no redeeming human qualities. Our deep state supported them since 80s and we saw the blowback in the form of blasts and what not in our cities. You cant block ideology by simply closing the border.

Taliban can surely work to improve human rights conditions in Kashmir. Taliban can work with Modi Government to lift curfews, provide food supplies and empower Kashmiris to claim their right to self-determination which is the eventual goal of the Indian Government.

I see happy times ahead of India and more importantly, they will be the lone celebrants! Good for them.

Spokesperson of the Afghan Taliban has disassociated himself from TTP in Paksitan. His statement is worth listening. (Watch 2:40 onwards)

Gains for Pakistan include:
1. Elimination of India and terrorist cams from Afghanistan
2. Elimination of Daish
3. Peace at the western border
4. Possible return of Afghans refugees in Pakistan
5. Economic growth through CPEC, Gwadar and connectivity to central Asia states.

You can ask what would Pakistan lose as a result? Afghans are independent and will say independent. A self-governed, non-hostile and peaceful Afghanistan is in Pakistan's best interest and that is our best gain.

I don't think anyone said anything like that

It is due to your low IQ that you are confusing things here

Terrible OP and literally clutching at straws. We are better than this. Are we really so distraught with our own politico-military apparatus that we are pinning our hopes on talibans for Kashmir and that also by putting some imaginary IoK border with afghanistan?

Yes. It is frankly embarrassing for Pakistan to count on the Talibans help in liberating Kashmir from India! Afghanistan is a much poorer country of about 40 million while Pakistan is a far more prosperous country of 210+ million. Pakistan has a strong military and now the Chinese are also sitting at Laddakh ready to pounce. AND Pakistan has millions of people ready to fight India if needed--people are well armed in parts of Pakistan. Also, there is no shortage of Madrassahs willing to churn out Jihadis. In short, Pakistan doesn't need the Talibans to fight for Kashmir.

Equally surprising is that Indians are worried about the Talibans getting involved in Kashmir affairs. NO! If and when the Talibans gain power in Kabul they will still have their hands full facing a range of problems and even armed resistance. And even IF the Talibans are willing to join in some Jihad to liberate Kashmir, the LoC is one strong fortress which will inflict heavy casualties on infiltrators.

So please stop the talk of the Taliban connection with Kashmir!

Having said all this-- peace on Pakistan's western border will be great for economic growth: Investors confidence, focus on economic growth, and diversion of Pakistani military assets to better counter any Indian move on the eastern border.

Pakistan already tried after 1989 but afterward paid the cost by Pakistan and Pakistani's only.

Need to learn that if the host arms people then what happens usually. I host Pakistan will not make the same mistakes and learn from their own history.

Again, if they will repeat the mistakes then again they only will have to pay back.

Mostly agree except that off shoots of Taliban were quite active in kashmir in the 90s, when our secular governments were dealing with Pakistan.
If taliban do get complete control in Afghanistan, its very possible that Pakistan will divert its assets from Afghanistan to India. Your present coas might be a realist but Pakistan has a history of military adventurism under different heads , eg 1965 , kargil, 1989 , etc.
Result as you say will be the same but the winners of another conflict will be the same ppl who have been benefitting from the last 7 decades .
