well that logic would apply if you consider yourself and preset china as poor , since china's ral GDP per capita is around 9,800-14000$

which India is estimated to reach in 2025. or if you are talking India in singular entity which makes it just ridiculous to call the 6th largest economy rich or not rich , china in per-capita will never surpass quart or Luxembourg
