Babur Scores Bullseye.

Even in conventional mode, Babur as in the above video has proved to be very accurate.
One also needs to listen to Dr Samar Mabarak to understand the deadly accuracy this missile achieves.

A talk with a little bit of "extra" essence is good to make sure that the concerned parties clearly get the message.

When some countries posses satellites which can read a Car's number plate from the space, they can pretty much determine if there was a say 20 Meters deficiency. I have seen videos where even the Yellow flag marker was knocked down/blown away with the impact.

I was talking about India. Bluffing is a part of the game, and every one does a little chest-thumping. Dr. Mand also claims that our missiles are 100% indigenous (I mean no disrespect for him, he did, is doing and will do the right thing).
Yes, those tests were the ones which were ultimately successful. Let us not boast about our sources. :)

There wasn't any explosive in the warhead section in this particular test. The dirt thrown off is due to the sheer kinetic force.
Also there wasn't any specific target, just coordinates and image of target area (for DSMAC).

Lastly, Babur didn't score any bull's eye. It missed its intended impact point by ~15-20 meters.

Babur GLCM is not a tactical weapon. The aim is to develop a system that can target specific buildings, but it is just an "aim". Babur's control systems are still evolving, that is why it is being produced in a limited way.
However, this video is of a bit old (relatively) test launch. One can expect improvements in future.

Are you sure about 15-20 M accuracy? About this particular test, they claimed the accuracy of 2 meters or to be more precise, hit the target with in 6 feet radius.

. .
Mate, Babur is predominantly being designed to carry a nuclear payload. A strike within 35 meters for a yield > 35Kt, everything will be pulverized. However, having said that, as a kinetic weapon /or/ carrying a traditional payload against a heavily fortified site, deviation of 25m is not good!
It probably has the capability to carry FAE and Chemical warheads too. So a 25m CEP is excellent!

The video the OP has provided is of a previous test. About that test I am sure.

This claim of a 2 meter close hit was made about the most recent test (2012), of which I don't know about.

It's 2012 missile test video, released after babur test.Just look the date of video

Yes it was released afterwards, but its not of the 2012 test. The 2012 video was the very (rather very very) shaky one.
It is from 2011 ( I don't remember if it was the February test or the October one).

The video is of the latest test since there is no previous footage released of the Babur shown leaving a trail and actually striking it's designated target.

Sir some videos are never released, and some are released late. Only 9 tests have been officially acknowledged, but Pakistan has conducted more. Every time they record the whole video.

This time, there was a little lack of coordination between the pilots and the launching team, and the missile was launched too early. The Mirages could never catch up. This video that you posted, has only the first clip from the 2012 launch (the launching of the missile). All the rest parts are from a previous launch. They didn't include the target-hitting part from 2012 because it was poorly recorded.

My dear, the footage was released on the same date as when the test was conducted. Surely you are not of the opinion that different footage were joined to just make this video.
It's also worth noting that the impact wasn't filmed from any aircraft but rather from a ground based camera purposely placed in the vicinity of the target.

Yes it was released in 2012 but was recorded earlier, that is what I'm saying. Of course I am of the same opinion. The flight lasts for more than 30 minutes, and is recorded throughout by two Mirages, while two teams record the launch and one records the impact. That amount of data is more than enough for video manipulation.

Yeah but there isn't anything special about it. It has always been like that. The OPs (probably two in number) are set up in advance in the vicinity of target area.

congrats! but that video looks fake to me, Reuters reallyy?
