First of all, CMs are not selected from the minority or majority quota but purely by voting. If you have a problem start a Muslim political party like AIMIM and get voted to power and be the CM.
Secondly, if not having a Muslim ruler is a cause for concern, then you should consider travlelling to the 56 countries where it is either de-jure or de-facto the rule to have a Muslim ruler.
Only Sunni Muslims vote for their kind, this was pretty established till the last election. The trend is being challenged now as young Muslims are voting in a more matured way for a better candidate. Which is a good sign.
Wou Wou Wou Jumping to conclusions haan... First go through the discussion I was having with other PDF members then you can form your opinion. It is one of the PDF member over here who claimed that there are almost no non-muslim leaders in muslim majority areas/countries, so I just pointed out that it isn't very different here in our country.
And let me inform you that barring the dictatorships/monarchies, majority of the muslim countries don't have a law which bans non-muslims from holding top leadership.
Its not just Sunni muslims who vote their own kind, but Dalits, Jaats, Reddy's, Yadavs etc all do the same which I did mention previously. Please do go through the previous 3-4 pages to see what has been discussed and then post your replies instead of passing a judgement in a haste...
