Babri Masjid Case Ruling Today

Well i am confused at this logic, babri masjid was built on ruins of rama birthplace, such an important figure for hindus, why his birthplace was not kept safe in the first place.
Now if ppl say that the so called foreign invaders destroyed it, then what stopped them from destroying all the other hindu holy places during their rule.

.
The fact that you are calling Babar, who laid the foundation for the most glorious line of monarchs to rule and unify the subcontinent, a "foreign looter" speaks to the many biases you are living with. How friggin' ungrateful. If the "foreign looter" mughals are so despised, please disassemble the Red Fort, Taj Mahal, Qutb Minar and numerous other monuments which earn revenue for you till today and grace the front cover of every tourist book about India, and ship them to us. Or Afghanistan. I am sure they (or we) will happily relieve you of these monuments to the "foreign looters" who lived in India, made India their own, brought cultural sophistication and the highest art forms to India, united India and made it strong.

I never called Akbar or ShahJehan a bigot ...did I.?

And no amount of eloquency can hide the fact Babar was indeed a foreign invader who came to India to loot its wealth.

And If you can please take back the monuments ,we are more than happy.

And for your kind info India was very much united long long before Babar under Emperor Asoka,Chandra Gupta Mauryaand more recently during the Gupta Period which was hailed as Golden Age of Ancient India.

And while you're at it, take a pickaxe and undo Victoria Terminus, Le Martinier and all the other buildings the European "looters" built in India. Pick apart all the bridges and train lines they laid and return yourself to pre-Aryan times.

Offtopic. We are not talking about English...Are we.?

Calling the glorious mughals "foreign looters" is not only hateful, but also ludicrous. But I am glad you came out and said this, because now we all know what kind of biases and hate we are dealing with here... It is statements like yours that make all muslims believe that they were never accepted and will never be accepted by hindus. Very pathetic.

Yes indeed they are foreign invaders who came from Afghanistan/Central Asia to strip India of its wealth and as I said no amount of eloquency can deny that.

And also Just because I say Babar is a foreign invader does not mean All the Muslims are also Foreign. What a ridiculous logic is that.

99% of the present day Muslims in India are the natives of this land who were converted either by the Sufi saints or under the sword of these invaders.

i read this thread and MANY MANY other threads but the answer of proof of ram bhoomi is still elusive!!

it is "ALLEGED" he was born here!

a ruling totally in favour of hindus! the best would have been no temple no mosque as the minimum!

but no they will proceed to build the temple on the spot!

I am convinced you have not gone thru the entire thread and have not read news reports on the net at all.

The findings of the ASI is with the High Court of Allahabad based upon which the judgement has been made.

The report is around 10000 pages. Give me your address, I will courier you the copy as and when its available for everyone to buy.

A brief synopsis of the dispute Ramjanmabhoomi for dummies

Muslim v Hindu Ayodhya verdict: the history of the dispute

Then, 150,000 Kar Sevaks, or volunteers, followed LK Advani and other leaders of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party to Ayodhya, where they destroyed the Babri Mosque and electrified Indian politics for the two decades which followed.

In the immediate aftermath, riots claimed more than 2,000 lives in cities throughout India. In Mumbai, Islamic terrorists killed more than 250 people in a series of bombings believed to have been in retaliation for Muslim deaths in the post-Ayodhya riots.

Riots flared again in Gujarat in 2002 after Muslims burned alive 59 Hindus they believed were returning from desecrating the mosque at Ayodhya. More than a thousand people were killed in riots throughout the state.

Today, more than 200,000 troops have been deployed in Northern India to prevent similar violence after the expected High Court ruling on who owns the site at Ayodhya, the Muslim Central Sunni Waqf Board, or a Hindu organisation that wants to build a temple to Lord Rama on the plot of the former mosque.

The dispute dates back to 1853, more than 300 years after the mosque was built by one of Emperor Babur's generals following their defeat of a local Hindu king.

According to Hindu campaigners, Lord Rama, one of their most revered deities, was born on the site, and an 11th Century Ram temple stood there until it was destroyed by troops loyal to Babur, the Muslim conqueror and India's first Mughal emperor. The general, Mir Baqi, named the mosque in his emperor's honour, but it became more commonly known as 'Masjid -i-Janmasthan' – Mosque of the Birthplace – in acknowledgement of Rama's birth there.
Since the first Hindu-Muslim clash was recorded over the issue in 1853, there have been intermittent protests and petitions by each side to establish their claim to the site.

The case which will be decided at Allahabad High Court today was launched in 1992 and seeks to determine the rightful title owner of the plot, whether the site was the birthplace of Lord Rama, and whether the mosque was built on the site of an ancient Hindu temple.

The ruling its politically explosive. If it finds in favour of Hindus who want to rebuild a Ram Temple on the site, it will alienate India's 140 million muslims, many of whom already feel marginalised in Indian society.

It will also cause anxiety over their property rights – most plots and mosque sites in India were once owned by Hindus.

More than the ruling itself, public reaction to it will be another test of how far India has travelled from its dark, communal recent history. The government is hoping those on either side of the divide now care more about their rising wealth and their stake in India's growth than settling ancient religious scores.

Its a Hindu denomination belonging to Vaishnav Sampradaya...
I can go on and on regarding this but this is not the place..
So, in a nutshell it is indeed hindu akhara...

so the court verdit favored hindus 2 to 1.
why no half half?
it would have been fair..

.
OH OK SO according to your rule muslims can now avenge justice by going around destroying temples?

Thankfully Indian Muslims are much more sensible than that.

& please the gujrat thing of hindus being "slaughtered" for god sake back up your claims with international evidence!

you are the first person who has asked for sources to confirm the train burning of 60 karsevaks.

Google it and you ll get in plenty.

Well, times were different around 600 years back. We weren't a powerful army with nuclear weapons back then, and it is too simplistic to ask, "why was it not kept safe". If a certain invader/ruler/king (whatever you call him) defeats your army decisively, it is rather tough to 'keep it safe', as you call it.

. . . . . .
Please be humane and put yourself in the wronged party's shoes. If someone demolishes your house and kills many members of your family, razes your place of worship to the ground, then makes you fight for your rights for 18 years, will you call being given back 1/3rd of what was rightfully yours a victory? Will you joyously celebrate that the people who murdered your family and destroyed your place of worship got 1/3rd of what was yours? Will you celebrate the fact that the killers are let go with no punishment?

You have a very warped sense of justice.

WOW!!! And you don't think of muslims as Indians? Because that is the innuendo here...

Now apply the same logic and replace 18 years with 350 years.
