Babar Azam shatters Kohli's record of fastest 1000 in T20

(Web Desk) – Babar Azam became the fastest batsman to score a millennium in the Twenty20 format as Pakistan eyed whitewash against New Zealand in Dubai on Sunday.

In what was his 26th T20 appearance, Babar Azam shattered the record held by Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who himself had achieved the milestone in 27 T20 matches.

Sunday’s tally put Azam a well over 1,000 runs at a healthy average of 52.88. His highest score in the format remains at 97*, whereas his strike rate is 123.47.

No one said that, but Babar is a great batsman to be reckoned with. The issue here is with Indians alone, who have a hard time accepting the fact that Babar shattered Kohlis record.

Virat kohli doesn't enjoy the status as sachin..even to this day,after 5 years of sachins retirement sachins fans outnumber virat by a good margin..virats attitude didn't win him as many fans as he should have.
