People are crazy about that movie you can't find tickets easily that's why they are showing it for 9 day same thing happened with Kong Skull Island and no good Indian Movie in the house so yes and 1 Pakistani Movie which is chalay thay 7 is having a good show

Cinema trend can go up only when there are sufficient number of movies to cater local masses in their own language.

All (not most but all) the upcoming movies are Hollywood, and I doubt the country with 55 percent literacy rate will have enough audience for Hollywood movies. Only a minuscule section is being catered and I doubt that would be enough to keep these multiplexes running.

I booked tickets on 26th Apr for 29th show, barely a few were available on bookmyshow. On 29th itself, bookmyshow was showing ALL tickets across NCR sold out till 3rd May.

Movie itself was awesome. It is an experience, not a movie. I have never experienced such frenzy, whistling and clapping from crowd in gurgaon PVR (MGF Mall) - was all bang for bucks. I wished the movie to never end. Relentless drama, fights & CGI, continuous high tempo (and all those usual gravity defying, impossible stunts usually seen in hollywood movies), beautifully crafted scenes.

Now waiting for the frenzy to subside in coming weeks so that we can go watch it again, possibly in Imax this time.

True. my bad. Anyways I checked the figure for 2016 and they earned some 90 Cr PKR in total ie. around 50 Cr INR. You would expect an industry of minuscule size to grow but just like Pakistani export, Pakistani movie industry is also in a steady decline.

Mahabharata should be handed over to some Hollywood directors. Indians do not have expertise to produce an epic like Mahabharata. Mostly they will spoil the movie by casting star kids and putting unnecessary songs.

karan johar is the distributor for bahubali , i just hope he doesn't get inspired by rajmouli and decides to make mahabharat , he will cast all his gay khan friends & daughters in key roles and ruin the whole movie with naach gaana

as suggested someone like rajamouli or shankar have the skills to direct an epic like mahabharat in india , but i don't agree on your suggestion that it should be directed by a hollywood director because its an indian epic and it should be brought on screen by an indian and usually i find western filmakers to have a narrow view of hindu culture & misrepresent facts.
