Azerbaijani defence minister has left for Turkey
Azerbaijani defense minister Safar Abiyev has departed today to pay a visit to Turkey.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan informs that the trip is carried out at the invitation of Turkish defence minister Vecdi Gonul.
"In the course of the visit Abiyev will meet with several senior government officials, including his Turkish counterpart. Within the trip the sides will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation and security," the Ministry reported.
