Azerbaijan and Turkey plan to hold meetings to determine perspective projects in the field of defense industry, Ministry of Defense Industry said.
The proposals were made during the meeting between Turkish Secretary of Defense Industry Murat Bayar and Azerbaijani Minister Yaver Jamalov.
The sides agreed to set up a Working Group for cooperation, hold regular meetings, discuss new projects, exchange information on tenders, participate in the international defense exhibitions, projects.
To date the Turkish side has said it is interested in the participation in the projects of Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry Ministry on the National Ship Construction, Joint Attack Helicopter (ATAK), National Tank Project, production of infantry guns and unmanned flying vehicles.
